Sunday morning, Asha and her Dad in a cubby house (made expertly with a large sheet)...
Asha: Dad, your friend's name is Yoshi.
Dad: What is your friend's name, Asha?
Asha: My friend's name is Bingo.
Dad: What is Mum's friend's name?
Asha: Mum's friend's name is Vacuum Cleaner...
Hmmmmm.....
Currently, I am without my normal computer and am all out of whack with posting, but will be retrieving it in April....Actually that is no excuse, as I have 3 other computers that I could update on....
I have decided to continue. I looked back over all the past months of information and I thought, Asha will like reading this...and even if she doesn't, I like it...
Conversation with a nearly three year old....
Mummy: Asha, what are you drawing on the chalkboard?
Asha: A circle.
Mummy: Why don't you draw a man?
Asha: I don't have any man chalk.
Touche...Love it.
Our days are full of these conversations. Her best friend is now Miss Jo of Kinda Dance fame. Asha is quite the tiny dancer....

I have officially tried to post our pictures around 10 times now. My patience with Blogger has reached critical mass.
I am thinking about changing to Typepad...
Anyway. All is well, it is very hot and I am annoyed at not being able to show you all lots of pictures.

Asha is growing up fast. She has mastered the wearing of undies (I am crossing my fingers behind my back), loves The Gruffalo, and can have a reasonable conversation with anyone.
She goes up to strangers at the pool and asks them "What's your name?" and before they can respond, she says "I'm Asha Victoria". It is quite endearing. Although some of the kids are a little shocked...she is prone to giving random people hugs. Bit of a worry really....
She loves telling stories about princesses and queens and is obsessed with ballet and dancing. It is strange really, as she has never been encouraged to love all the pink stuff...

We are having an amazing time. Dreamworld was hot, but we had a great time..only counted 2 minor tanties....but I think our camera has officially had a major malfunction. We were poised, camera in hand, Asha lined up with a suitably cute koala....and Error 99 occurs on the old EOS350d...Ahhhhhhh....
After my initial cursing (well, a major bout of intense swearing, really)....I whipped out the camera on the phone and continued snapping away...
And a word of support for my mum...
